Mission & Philosophy

CalAPS is committed to delivering high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) courses that empower students to thrive as successful, contributing, college and career-ready members of the global community.

Our vision drives us forward, as we pledge to align our courses with California's Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards, Career-Ready Practice Standards, 21st Century skills, knowledge, performance anchor standards, and pathway standards.  We're dedicated to providing students with more than just classroom instruction - we offer up-to-date industry expertise, meaningful career exploration, and valuable work experience.

But we don't stop there.  We're not just educators, we're partners.  CalAPS collaborates with local businesses, civic organizations, and higher education institutions to create CTE programs that equip students with the experience they need for postsecondary education and meaningful careers.

We believe in holistic development.  That's why we're committed to nurturing students' technical skills, personal growth, professional development, and career planning abilities.  our learning opportunities are not only grounded in labor market trends but also tailored to local labor markets, student interests, and aligned with district CTE pathway sequences.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about how CalAPS is shaping the future of education and equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-evolving world.  Thank you for visiting us, and we look forward to being a part of your educational journey.  Together, we're advancing pathways to a brighter future.

Welcome to CalAPS - where education meets opportunity!
